Do You Need Supplements By Rubina Ratnakar

It’s a modern world and we all crave that fit body, we all want that amazing body and are running and exercising for it all day. But sometimes it takes a while to get that perfect body but some people couldn’t wait for that long and turn to the artificial methods of body transformation. They head to supplements. There may or may not be bad effects of taking supplements. So without any further delay let’s find it out with the help of this article by Rubina Ratnakar.

  • What science says

Facts

Even though supplements are popular, there is limited evidence that they offer any significant health benefits. In fact, a study published online May 28, 2018, by the Journal of the American College of Cardiology, found that the four most commonly used supplements — multivitamins, vitamin D, calcium, and vitamin C — did not protect against cardiovascular disease.

So the question is why do people take supplements? The basic answer to this question is strength. If a person has strength, he/she can do anything. So that’s the main reason people take supplements. It’s something that can really affect your health and cause some serious problems.

  • Possible health risks

Some of the possible health risks that one can face by the use of the excessive intake of supplements are:

  • High doses of beta carotene have been linked to a greater risk of lung cancer in smokers.
  • Extra calcium and vitamin D may increase the risk of kidney stones.
  • High doses of vitamin E may lead to stroke caused by bleeding in the brain.
  • Vitamin K can interfere with the anti-clotting effects of blood thinners.

So these are the main risks that one may face in this process of building your ideal body. It’s very much popular in adults who are working day and night to get their dream body but aren’t ready for the time, they seek immediate results, and that is something that one cannot do, it’s a slow process, it takes time. So all you have to do is be patient and wait for it.
